Today is Dad's 87th Birthday. We had the Tender Care van bring him home at 10 this morning and he went back at 6 tonight. We had fried potatoes and onions, hamberger and green beans for lunch and chili for supper. I also made him his favorite chocolate birthday cake. He was only alert and "with it" for a couple hours later this afternoon but seemed to enjoy his time. He enjoyed a couple cups of regular coffee too. Not allowed at the nursing home!
