Well, that does it for pictures for now. Tony is gone to Tennessee for the week. Alicia and I will be babysitting a couple day's this week and she has a playdate planned with some former preschool friends, and a birthday party on Friday. We are trying to get Dad into a nursing home here in town. It's not even 2 minutes down the road. I think it'll be better for all of us including him. Alicia starts school on the first of September. The summer sure flew by. The weather was so hot and wet we really didn't get a chance to enjoy the outdoors. We bought a new tent and I'm hoping to try it out yet when the weather get's a little cooler. When the colors start to change I think we venture towards Door county and the U.P. of Michigan. We've never been to either place and it looks like lot's of fun! Door county has lot's of lighthouse's, nice beaches and cool little shops. The U.P. has the Porcupine Mts., and "yes" they really are mountains! There is also Whitefish bay where the Edmund Fitzgerald sank and the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum. The Sioux Locks are here as well as the Mackinac bridge. Lot's of fun stuff. Well, since my husband's gone I guess I can start cleaning the house. I have a feeling there is another busy week in store.
